As a self-professed book lover, I am deeply ashamed to admit that I have read exactly one book since being in Korea (and by book, I mean you know, one that was meant to be read by someone over the age of 7 and also wasn’t mostly pictures), and it was just earlier this month. I would like to blame this on the fact that only brought one paperback novel with me (which by the way, I have not read and is now on this list), and the fact that the bookstores nearest us only sell Korean books. After a long hiatus from writing and a few life-changing decisions, I’m finally back in front of the computer, ready to write. Okay, that’s not entirely true - more like continuously staring at the screen willing the words to appear in front of me and it doesn’t seem to be working very well. PLUS, even if you never come to Seattle, here’s something you can use! I find it easy to just throw a bunch of stuff together that I already have in my kitchen and the result is always delightful. The best part is that it requires very little measuring (I mean you could measure the ingredients, but I don’t), and you can sub ingredients in and out to your heart’s content, based on what you have in your own cupboards. All of these recipes can be made in 15 minutes or less.

I figured the best way to start would be by introducing myself. I’m a former English teacher with a love for Harry Potter, Friends, Shakespeare, and writing. I’m a sucker for puns. I have an adorable dog named Prue. I absolutely love tacos. And doughnuts. And pizza. Ok, let’s be real - I just love food.
